By understanding how to acknowledge and navigate these moments, you can nurture your mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being for greater overall contentment with yourself, whether you are physically around others or by yourself. With expert guidance, you can learn to feel more at ease and build deeper connections with the people and world around you.

Build Self-Confidence in Just 1 Week

In this transformative 7-day course, mental health counselor Mary Joye will teach you how to reframe your perspective of what it means to be lonely and develop a sense of connectedness with the world around you. With the support of neuroscience, you’ll identify the areas of your life that may need more care and use a detailed, strategic plan to create stronger, more nourishing bonds. What People Are Saying
"I felt lonely and despondent going through my divorce, but Mary taught me how to make myself open up to safe friends. She explained part of self-care was asking for help which was foreign to me. Mary guided me to envision a better life of my own creation. I reconnected with old friends, and now I have a new love in my life, and I'm closer to happiness than I've been in a long time."

“Just finished and I am feeling better already. The biggest aha moment for me was understanding the difference between solitude and loneliness. This course helped me to realize the resources at my disposal that had become sort of invisible over the years.”
Susan
"For years, I was scared to go anywhere without my spouse, had almost no friends, and didn't talk to my family because most of them were judgmental. Mary helped me reach out to my good family and friends by writing and then calling. Now I know who I can and can't trust. I visited with relatives I hadn't seen in years. Through my love of art, Mary introduced me to a therapeutic art class. I'm making new friends, can drive alone, and I'm not afraid or lonely anymore."

“I have really enjoyed this course and have gotten so much insight into myself and how this situation has evolved over the years. I am looking forward to making the changes I've committed to and letting go of the past as needed.”
Terri
"Mary Joye taught me how important it was to have acquaintances and to not just make friends to find work. I started to reach out to people I knew casually, and now I have a job and have started a side business that I love where I get to meet great people every day."
G.Y.
"I thought I'd never get past my grief or how alone I felt. I was the person everyone counted on, but just wanted to be alone after the loss of my daughter. Mary helped me to understand that being open about my feelings wasn't weak, but honest. I can be myself on good days or bad days without feeling guilty."
