Building Solid Skills and a Strong Foundation

In this course you will learn the six foundation kettlebell exercises and integrate them into a regular training program. You will first learn the skills for an exercise, and then you will spend that day's workout and the following two sessions solidifying the knowledge of that particular exercise before we move on to the next. The course builds on itself but you will still get a full workout program and its benefits.

What's included in this course:

  • 18 easy to follow beginner kettlebell workouts focusing on strength, cardio, mobility, stability and agility.
  • Intermediate Bonus Workout: A fun mix up to your workout if you want something a little different from time to time.
  • Advanced Bonus Workout: Learn ways to advance your kettlebell training utilizing chains, complexes, and double kettlebell work, and using heavier weight.

With this course you will learn the 6 foundation kettlebell exercises:

  • The Swings: Where it all begins and ends with kettlebell training. This is a powerful, ballistic exercise that helps with both strength and cardio training.
  • The Get-Up: The Yin to the Swing's Yang. This exercise helps you to regain mobility for improved quality of life.
  • The Clean: A transitional move, generally used to get a bell off the ground safely in order to do something else (such as press or squat).
  • The Squat: A basic human movement - we do it every day, so we might as well do it correctly! Maintaining squat mobility will make your day to day life easier.
  • The Press: Forget about crunches! This is a great abdominal exercise because if you are pressing heavy enough you won't be able to get the bell overhead without contracting your abs.
  • The Snatch: A slightly more advanced movement that burns a TON of calories and helps get you lean while maintaining strength.

You will never outgrow the workouts in this course. Once you have mastered the techniques in this course you can always go back through and add weight or implement double kettlebell work. There are endless possibilities!

Delaine began her kettlebell journey nearly 12 years ago when she stumbled on kettlebell almost by accident. She was tired of spending 2 hours a day 6 days a week at the gym running on a treadmill, doing isolated muscle training and stretch classes. She heard on the radio that there was a way to get strength, cardio, and mobility work all done at the same time and shave hours off of your workout time while getting better results. It sounded too good to be true but she tried it out anyway. After one class, she was hooked. Lucky for her, the instructor was Brett Jones- one of the biggest names in kettlebell training- who encouraged her to get certified. 2 years later, she opened Condition Kettlebell Gym and ran it for 8 years in Atlanta. In 2012, she was appointed a Senior StrongFirst Instructor by Pavel Tsatsouline (the man credited with the resurgence of kettlebell training in America) and teaches kettlebell certifications worldwide. Her latest effort is working for The Phoenix, a non-profit that spreads sober fitness programming throughout the United States showing recovering drug addicts and alcoholics that they are stronger than stigma.
