At-home gym equipment can be expensive and difficult to store. Resistance bands are lightweight, versatile, require little storage space, and convenient to take anywhere. The best part is, they can be used to get the same results as hand weights and other bulkier pieces of equipment. In fact, using resistance bands can actually be more beneficial, as they help us build strength in a safe, balanced, and low-impact way. In this course, we're going to learn how to use resistance to effectively work with your muscles to strengthen, tone, and sculpt your body.
In this seven-day course by Pilates instructor Alex Horton, you'll be introduced to the ways resistance bands can be used to maximize your exercise. Each workout will target a specific area of the body, allowing you to build strength and tone. Lessons are quick, effective, and clearly explained. Alex will guide you through each of the exercises, ensuring that you're moving with good form and getting the most out of your workouts. She provides modifications that allow you to move safely and challenge yourself based on your current level of fitness.
This course is for all levels of experience. One long resistance band is needed.
